Back in the Saddle Again. Part II
Here I am finally sitting back down in front of my computer able to spend some time blogging again. My apologies for the delay in writing, but things have been a little hectic lately. As I mentioned in an earlier post, things are starting to come together for Evelyn and I at Physicians Fitness Solutions, LLC. We are finally gaining some traction in a lot of areas, and I believe 2009 will be our best year ever. I am working with a group of local health, fitness and wellness experts to promote our Phytness Solutions platform throughout Monmouth and Ocean Counites in the coming weeks, with statewide roll-out in early 2009. This leads to the Bigger and Better News about our expansion plans for 2009.
As you know, Dr. Wells has been a featured author on http://www.jumpsnapnation.com/ and will be featured in their upcoming infomercial. We are following up with plans to release a series of instructional videos and webinars aimed at promoting the interaction between disciplines within the health and fitness arena. We will be hosting forums with MD's, DO's, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, Personal Trainers, Dieticians, Nutritionists, Holistic Nurses and many other health care providers in search of finding common ground in the fight against Obesity, Diabetes, Cancer, and other common health problems.
Often times clients complain about the wide range of contradictory information they recieve from their primary care physician, various specialists, personal trainers, etc. They are constantly bombarded with the "Next Big Thing in Weight Loss", only to be disappointed and left in a dazed and confused state. It is the responsibility of Health Care Providers to try and find a common sense approach to working together to get the best results for their common clients. Alternative Medicine has to a degree been accepted as Complimentary Medicine, but their is still a lot of resistance to more holistic approaches to health and wellness. Their is a HUGE casm between MD's and DO's when it comes to treatment options, and this must change in order for us to come to terms with the current health care crises we are facing. We have to lace our boots up and get back in the saddle, because this is one journey that must be taken before it is too late. Please let me know your thoughts on the state of healthcare in America???
